Vintage Humanist Vow Renewals

A vintage Humanist vow renewal?

I was talking with the bride. When I say ‘talking’ – we were actually emailing. But that seems to stand for ‘talking’ nowadays…… unless you’re supine on the sofa with a large G&T talking with your best mate who is supine on the other sofa! (I’m not – well not at this precise moment!)

It was but a fleeting suggestion. Vintage! 1930’s. What could be more lovely than a vintage Humanist vow renewal ceremony?

Anyway, we happened upon one of those spur of the moment ‘moments’ – where to source vintage to-die-for dresses? And good advice? And accessories?

I tell my clients that I pride myself on offering more than the average ‘celebrant’ experience. I have a head full of contacts and ideas. My brain is like a Scrabble board ………. event organisers, conjurers, florists, quirky venues, vegan cake-makers, bio-degradable confetti, hat makers, jewellers, hog roasters, poets, owl ring-bearers. You name it, I’ll find them if I don’t know them already!

I just knew it when we met a couple of weeks ago that this stunning woman would be a knock-out in a 1930s gown. So I recommended she contact The Fabulous Miss K in Norwich – what could be finer?

Now, where’s my hat with that little veil?
