When Jess and Adam said ‘we are bringing our dog to our wedding’ I said ‘oh that’s lovely’. Because I love dogs, and Bingo was part of our Zoom meetings (he told me what he wanted but Adam and Jess didn’t hear us whispering)!
Of course, it helped that the ceremony was at the magnificent Voewood House – a regular haunt for me; and the lovely Bella of OhBellaWeddingDayDogs was going to look after Bingo before and after the ceremony (if you want your dog to come to your wedding and you don’t know Bella……. well you should!!). Leah van Zyl was the fab photographer, Emily Andrews was the wedding organiser and Floralsistas did the gor-ge-ous flowers. All rust and pale pink, amber and pale green, with a touch of yellow – and with dried corn and grasses.
And we had SINGING! Don’t you love a bit of singing? 500 miles (of course, and very loud) and also Lean on Me. So damned romantic!
