Wedding suppliers who have been around the block a few times know the value of the network! We all get to work with photographers, venues, dress designers, florists. graphic artists, marquee purveyors, equipment hire, caterers. The lot. We reach a point where working together feels like we are a team even though we are not. A formally defined team, that is. As a couple, your ceremony benefits from this network – it becomes seamless.
Over the next few days I am featuring a few of my best buds on whom you can rely. Take a look.
Vegas Vintage at The Dial House

Vegas Vintage is a vintage retail outlet run by the delicious Hannah Springham at the go-to hotel and restaurant The Dial House in Reepham Norfolk. Hannah and I have been known to plot the odd vintage and out-there scenario or two for couples. Vegas Vintage has sequins and silk, shoes, bags and everything you could want for an unconventional approach to sartorial elegance. Go to it! Seek! And while you’re at it check out her wedding venue for a small and perfectly formed celebration or a wild party vibe. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Milly’s Shoes
And then, there’s Milly J strikingly unconventional shoes. Milly is a former winner in the Footwear Industry Awards, Named as one of Norfolk’s 100 most influential women, last year she won the Luxury Travel Guide Awards for Wedding Specialist – Shoe Store of the Year. Milly doesn’t just makes shoes. She designs them. Just for you. Whatever you want. And rarely predictable. So if you want to ‘bear your sole’ here are her top tips on engaging a proper shoe maker:

Don’t leave your shoe plans to the last minute; bespoke takes time – Milly needs to gauge what you want and that means talking to you. She draws a plan, does a proper footwear fitting, creates mood boards to make sure you are happy and then orders in the materials you have chosen and creates the item with a number of fittings in between so you end up with a unique shoe just for you. In fact two!! You can find Milly in the historic Tombland in Norwich. As she says – just click your heels to start!
